Health Care Litigation

Every day our lawyers defend physicians, health systems, and hospitals in a wide array of disputes.  As a result, our lawyers are not only strong litigators, they also are familiar with the medical, technical and regulatory pressures unique to health care. Our services include:

  • Health Care Business Litigation – We represent hospitals, health systems, physician groups, nursing homes and all health care providers in litigation related to the purchase and sale of practices, non-competition and restrictive covenants, labor and employment issues, practice disputes, medical staff proceedings, administrative hearings, intellectual property and other issues.
  • Health Insurance and Managed Care Litigation – We represent hospitals on managed care, reimbursement and insurance-related issues. These include coverage questions and usual, customary and reasonable rate issues.
  • Medical Malpractice Defense – Health care professionals who find themselves to be the subject of litigation need attorneys who understand the challenges faced by this unique profession. We realize a lawsuit by a patient takes its toll on your time, your family and your reputation. We defend hospitals, physicians, allied health practitioners, management companies, and drug and medical device manufacturers.  in the defense of personal injury cases involving a wide range of medical specialties.  Our wealth of courtroom experience over the years and our thorough well thought out trial strategies, and pretrial dispute resolution where appropriate, sets us apart from our peers.
