Oil, Gas and Other Energy Sources

Kansas is a major oil and gas producing state.  The Kansas oil and gas industry has blessed our lawyers with many interesting and diverse legal issues.  We provide advice to producers, oil field suppliers, drilling companies and operators.  We have represented several major producers in nationwide royalty owner class actions involving the Hugoton gas field.  We have experience drafting and litigating leases and development agreements.  We provide regular counsel to companies involved in lease acquisitions and oil and gas exploration in a wide-range of contract, corporate, labor and employment, regulatory, environmental, and litigation matters.

We provide counsel on various aspects of several wind farm projects in Kansas. We also have experience with ethanol plant construction and maintenance.
