Estate Planning. In her estate planning work, Rachel counsels clients of all generations, from young parents growing their families, to elderly individuals thoughtfully planning for the final stages of their lives. With a very hands-on approach, Rachel works closely with her clients on drafting wills, trusts, living wills, and powers of attorney. She also assists families with probating a will or administering a trust after the recent loss of a loved one.

Bankruptcy. Rachel has experience in all aspects of bankruptcy work representing debtors and creditors. She represents debtors from start to finish in Chapter 7 bankruptcies. Rachel assists creditors with protecting their rights when an individual has filed for bankruptcy, and also files and prosecutes adversary actions on behalf of Chapter 7 trustees. She is a co-editor of the Kansas Bar Association's (KBA) Bankruptcy Handbook (third edition).

Rachel is admitted to practice in Kansas state and federal courts. Rachel is a member of the Wichita, Kansas and American Bar Associations; the Kansas Women Attorney Association; the Wichita Young Lawyers; and the Wichita Women Attorney Association. Rachel has served as president, president-elect, treasurer and social chair of the Wichita Young Lawyer Board. In the community, she helped coordinate the KBA's high school mock trial tournament in 2009 and 2010.

She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in English with a minor in business administration, from Wichita State University. Rachel obtained her J.D., with Dean’s Honors, from Washburn University School of Law, where she was a published member of the Washburn Law Journal and served as technical editor for a year. Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, attending concerts, and any outdoor activity.
