He is a member of the Wichita, Kansas and American Bar associations. Stephen successfylly completed the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy in 2017; conducted at STanford Law School, the programs is designed to furhter develop trial advocacy skills.
Stephen received a B.A. in organizational leadership magna cum laude with minors in business administration and legal studies from Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, in May, 2009. Stephen obtained his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in Waco, Texas, graduating cum laude in May, 2013.
While in law school, Stephen served as an associate editor for the Baylor Law Review. He was also a research assistant for Rory Ryan, Professor of Law, and served on the Law Board of Barristers. Prior to joining Hite, Fanning & Honeyman L.L.P., Stephen was a student clerk for Judge Eric Melgren for the U.S. District Court, District of Kansas.
