Brett Sitts is an associate with the firm. He primarily practices in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis in personal injury and commercial litigation.
He brings practical legal experience in consumer protection, insurance, and real estate to his clients. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law where he received a certificate in business and commercial law. Brett participated in the National Trial Competition, as a member of the mock trial team while in law school. He held a variety of leadership roles in the Student Bar Association, the International Law Society and the Business and Tax Law Society. During his 3L year, Brett was appointed as a student representative to the Academic Affairs Committee of the KU Law School. As law student, Brett worked in a law firm preparing commercial leases, drafting pleadings for pending litigation, and writing legal memoranda on the Kansas Consumer Protection Act, among other things.
Prior to law school, Brett earned his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University, studying political science and communications. Out of the office, he is an avid K-State wildcat fan and is an enthusiastic “foodie.”
