Partner Jennifer Goheen brings a wealth of knowledge and caring to our clients in the areas of family law, domestic relations, divorce, child custody and child support, adoption, and paternity. She has over 15 years of experience helping clients navigate the complicated areas of family law and domestic relations.
Jennifer maintains a strong focus on the needs of her clients and how to best resolve issues with their children’s best interests in mind while implementing a straightforward approach, saving her clients’ time and money in navigating their cases. She is an aggressive litigator as well as a skilled mediator and negotiator. She was a case manager for a Crisis Center in Manhattan, Kansas, providing her with experience in resolving conflict in difficult situations. She is also experienced in those extreme situations where she protects her client by obtaining court orders for Protection from Stalking (PFS) or Protection from Abuse or, in the alternative, defending her clients in these matters.
When children are impacted by the dissolution of marriage or a relationship, Jennifer counsels clients through difficult child custody situations and in determining child support and parenting time guidelines. She also assists families in navigating the domestic adoption process and has worked with numerous clients on stepparent adoptions as well.
When not working with clients, Jennifer is an avid reader and enjoys relaxing with a good book.
