Bio

Kim Farha is a partner in the firm, concentrating her practice in the areas of business litigation, civil litigation and electronic discovery.  She also devotes a part of her practice to handling insurance defense cases on behalf of several leading insurance carriers.  In this capacity, she has represented clients in automobile accidents, slip and fall claims, and personal or property damage cases.

Prior to joining the firm, Kim was staff attorney of the “Put Something Back” Pro Bono Project of Dade Legal Aid, a program in Miami, Florida, that continues to thrive today.  In that capacity, she was responsible for recruiting and training attorneys to provide pro bono legal services to low-income clients.  She was also an associate with firms in Florida and Oklahoma.

Kim is actively involved in the community.  Among her community commitments, she has served on the board of directors for The Treehouse, Music Theatre for Young People, the parish council of St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral and has volunteered with The Independent School and Signature Theatre,  Kim previously volunteered with the Junior League of Wichita and Junior League of Miami. 

Kim and her husband are now fans of the Tulane Green Wave, where their son attends college in New Orleans.  She also enjoys working out, supporting OU athletics, and music theatre.

Representative Experience

  • As outside counsel, ongoing representation of provider of financial services in numerous multi-million-dollar loan transactions and other general corporate matters.
  • Representation as the bankruptcy trustee in a bankruptcy case involving the recovery of approximately $1.5 million (with $500,000 in gold).
  • Ongoing handling of contractual matters for numerous clients in a variety of business ventures, including construction, manufacturing, oil and gas and real estate.
  • Representation of a large restaurant chain franchisee in the purchase and sale of numerous franchised restaurants.
  • Represented numerous companies in the formation of business partnerships, including physicians, pharmacies, accountants and trade companies.
  • Represented Cardwell International, Ltd. for many years until it was sold in a multimillion-dollar transaction.
  • Represented Wichita Greyhound Track, a racetrack, from 1989 to 1997, when the owners sold their interests.
