Linda Parks specializes in business transactions, banking, commercial real estate, creditors' rights, bankruptcy and estate planning. With a broad and diverse practice, she provides legal counsel to financial institutions on high-value loan transactions, loan purchases and sales, and contractual and operational matters. Additionally, Linda served as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee from 2003 to 2024. She is also an active member of the Kansas Bankers Association.
Her client base spans a wide range of industries, including large and small financial institutions, major construction companies, national franchisees, and various local businesses. Linda also works closely with individuals on business and estate planning matters.
Linda served as the managing partner at Hite, Fanning & Honeyman, until 2023, having served in that position from the firm's inception. In 2011, she was appointed to the Kansas Supreme Court's Blue-Ribbon Commission, tasked with evaluating and making recommendations about the Kansas court system. In 2020, Linda was appointed by the Governor to serve as Chair of the Court of Appeals Nominating Commission for the State of Kansas. She has been very active in a number of bar associations and currently serves on the Commission for Women in the Profession of the American Bar Association.
