Peter Qiu is a dedicated associate focusing on civil litigation, focusing on medical malpractice defense. His keen analytical skills and thorough understanding of the law make him a valuable asset to the firm.Â
Peter earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law. His involvement with the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy, the Mock Trial Council, and the Asian Law Students Association, along with his participation in KU Traffic Court, helped him cultivate both his research and advocacy skills. Peter's diverse experiences working with multiple law firms and legal organizations during his studies provided him with practical, hands-on knowledge that complements his strong academic foundation. Â Peter also has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washburn University.
With a rich educational journey that includes studies in both China and Japan, Peter brings valuable international experience to his role. His fluency in Mandarin further enhances his ability to connect with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. He also serves as a Board Member of the Wichita Asian Association and is active in the Wichita Bar Association. This unique blend of legal expertise, international experience, and personal interests equips Peter to excel in his field.Â
Outside of his professional endeavors, Peter is an avid pickleball player and enjoys traveling internationally. He has visited nineteen countries outside the U.S. to date.Â
