Bio

Randy Troutt, a partner at the firm, has been practicing since 1980 and is a seasoned trial lawyer with more than 35 years of experience in medical malpractice defense, civil litigation, mediation, and arbitration. Throughout his career, Randy has successfully tried more than 100 jury trials and represents a diverse range of clients in commercial litigation, arbitration, and personal injury matters.

Randy's extensive experience and proven success have positioned him to handle complex, multimillion-dollar claims. His particular focus on medical-related cases has earned him the trust of hospitals, clinics, individual physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Randy's meticulous attention to detail allows his clients in the medical field to focus on patient care, knowing that their legal concerns are in capable hands.

Randy is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Wichita, Kansas, American Bar Associations, the Kansas and International Associations of Defense Counsel, the American Academy of Hospital Attorneys, and the American Health Lawyers Association.

Outside his legal practice, Randy is an avid hiker who regularly tackles challenges like the Appalachian Trail, a 2,190-mile journey that tests determination and endurance. He brings the same perseverance and commitment to his work at Hite, Fanning & Honeyman and in serving his clients.
